Chinese Animal Signs

Someone asked me, "I have a friend who...

wants to know what animal year is 2015 in the Chinese Calendar? 

My answer is, techinically, 2015 will still start as the year of the horse. It will only be after the Chinese Lunar New Year on February 19, 2015 that it will become the year of the sheep.

The animal signs are the rat, ox, tiger, rabbit, dragon, snake, horse, sheep, monkey, rooster, dog and pig.
